Re: No such file or directory: '/home/mturk/core.pub'

Hi Kacper

I add this line to startup_ndslabs.py:Â
'import novaclient'
and comment out
Â#from novaclient.v1_1 import client

I get rid of the previous issue but ran into this message:

/Users/LY/novaclient/v1_1/__init__.py:30: UserWarning: Module novaclient.v1_1 is deprecated (taken as a basis for novaclient.v2). The preferable way to get client class or object you can find in novaclient.client module.

And I figure out that it is probably because no valid values (I print them out and get 'None' ) are passed in when the script initialize the client object here:

I am confused about these lines of code, how did it get those values?
Inline image 2
Would it be possible that the production.env file does not set up correct environment value so all these values are wrong in startup_ndslabs.py? Thanks.

Don't worry about it. I was just showing where the file is located or rather which file import statement grabs. Use 'import novaclient' in your scripts. NDS labs script will (should) work out of the box there.

You can log in there using your NCSA's credentials. I'm not sure whether you need to be in a specific group to do that. In any case Mike should be able to help you if it requires filing a ticket for the help desk.
Your URL shows the name of the server:
vlad-mgmt.ncsa.illinois.edu

I'm almost certain that additional info can be found on NCSA's confluence if you search for phrases like: vlad, openstack.
Unfortunately I don't have access to my laptop and cannot provide you a specific link.
Cheers,
Kacper
